Nothing in the rules says a term has to start in January. The club changes officers every six months, and for years that meant the calendar halves: January to June, July to December.
It does not mean that any more. Since the end of 2024 the terms have run December to May and June to November, and the change happened alongside a second one that is easier to miss: the election moved to almost the day before the handover.
Both are on one chart, because they moved together.
Thirteen elections, in order. The dot marks the month the term was written to start on. It used to be January or July. Since the end of 2024 it has been December or June, and the election has moved to within a week of the handover.
