Because of the coronavirus pandemic, we stay at home more, and accompany our family members more, family reunion time is precious. SZTM is also a big family, owning a group of lovely members. Last Tuesday evening, SZTM had a meeting to talk about family members, it was warm and sweet.
Disappeared for weeks, our president April come back to the family, she took a big role-meeting mater, and she brought passion and energy to us. And another cheerful thing, long disappeared Roy also come back, still slim and handsome, he served as MOT master.
There are three fabulous speakers, the first one was Frank Zhou.
Frank Zhou is known as “Running Man”, and his title was “keep running”. His initial purpose to run was to quit smoking, but he found many additional benefits, it is controllable, enjoyable, peaceful, it can help to stay healthy, lose weight, and release pressures. He fell in love with running, he runs longer and longer, and finished his half marathon race last year. Finally he proposed that we run together at the Shenzhen Bay. Good activity, let’s do it!
The second speaker was Jane Liang, with beautiful british accent.
Her title was “The annual meeting arrangement”. She was once the chairlady to arrange our annual contest, it was challenging. But no obstacles can disturb her, toastermaster is a school, she applied what she learned from it to the arrangement, a meeting likes a trilogy: opening, main body, and ending. Along with effective execution and teamwork, she accomplished the work wonderfully.
The third speaker was Miguel, his title was “the adventure of learning new languages”.
As a multiculture educated man, Miguel can speak more than 4 kinds oflanguages: local, Chinese, English, Spanish..He shared the benefits and his experience of learning languages, and also gave some tips. His advises were helpful, to find the reason and motivation of learning language, and live with the language.
Vivian Pan, Megan Luo, and Louis gave detailed feedback to the individual speakers, they picked out the shining points and also gave some useful suggestions, the evaluations were encouraged and supportive.
Millennium baby Max held the table topic speech part. She brought us the topic “family member”. It was a exciting part, many guys actively joined it, Max gave priority to the guests. They delivered a short speech surrounding family 、relatives and close relationship. Their performance were fantastic, some had the experience of overseas, so their English were very smooth.
At the break time, brother Lizhen asked all the guests went to the stage and let us know them, there are so many guests and they grabbed the chance to speak in the impromptu speech part, welcome all of you, be a member, will have more chances.
We were glad to have Area director Rechael Pan as our big boss-GE, she evaluated the whole meeting and especially was impressed by our warm atmosphere, she was busy but still come to support SZTM, we appreciated her amazing speech and her support, pls come as often as possible.
Finally We voted the best roles: best speaker Frank, best evaluator Vivian Pan, best table topic speaker Eleven, best master April, best facilitator Fish. Congratulations to all the best, good models!
