Questions: Have you been persuaded byothers？
Sunny wang: Different people have differentpersonalities. I can find the way that is most suitable for me. Before beingpersuaded by others, you should firstly persuade yourself. Follow your heart.
Louis ever wanted promote Wechat publicaccount, so he contacted a team. When told that it would cost him 10,000 RMB, he hesitated. Finally, he was persuaded and cooperated with the team.

Ariel: I am seldom persuaded by others but myself. Beingpersuaded is to decide what to do or what not to do. Listen to your own innervoice and then make the decision.

Fish has been persuaded by Carol Ban to jointhe Conference even though he needs to spend 1000 RMB. (So expensive) Why? Quite a lot gorgeous people will be there.

Ree: I always think others are right. Last week, my friendpersuaded me to be a volunteer in a nursing home to talk with the elderly. Lastweekend, I went there. I was happy to be persuaded by my friend, because I knowwhat a nursing house is. It’s totally different from my previous knowledge.

Sunny: If you didn’t do well in Gaokao, would you go backto high school or go to the university you didn’t like? My choice would begoing back. But I was persuaded by my father, ‘cause he couldn’t support twochildren. Sometimes, I regret for my final decision. But when I knew that myclassmate who chose to back still failed the exam, I was kind of consoled.

Jane: Being persuaded by others is also a choice, but maybenot the best. My older sister often gives me suggestions and she takes goodcare of me, so I believe her. But later, I realize that she is Not alwaysright. Recently, I have been thinking about quitting my job. My sister insistedthat I am doing a stable job which can secure my life, so she opposes me togive up. However, I want to chase different life at my twenties.

Repeat Question can be good. Gives you time to think. Butthis is not impromptu speech. And we all know what the questions is. Sorepeating the question actually wastes time.
Have a story to make your conclusion more persuasive. Example for you. Adrian never could persuade me to think he is a good presidentlast year. I thought adrian would be a terrible president. But I saw how hardhe worked and how much he cared for the club. I see something in him. I want tolearn what that something was. …. then your conclusion. Follow their ideas. And do what is suitable. Want to choose.
Conclusion is good.

Too much details and background to the story. Since thetopic is about persuaded by others. Share more about persuasion. and what didthey or your feelings about being persuaded.

Voice could have been slower and deeper and have pauseswhen you wanted to give up. Then speak a bit faster and higher pitch to showexcitement at the end to show the positive story of being persuaded by yourselfto achieve your dreams

Ask question to audience. What do you think a nursing homeis like to make them think and to see ehat the audience thinks. You can agreeor disagree with audience and give them your reasons.

You sound very sad when you talk because your voice isdeep, speak slow and have lots of pauses.
The challenging thing with doing short speeches is being tomake your point and have people remember it. What you need to work on isthinking what is the most important and useful thing to say so that people getyour point. Sometimes certain details are not important and sometimes certaindetails are. It’s you as the speaker to decide.

Ask questions to engage audience. At the beginning, did youlisten to your parents or brothers and sisters. then tell Your story with yoursister.
I noticed you said when your sister has an opinion at theend. I think the end is better to ask question. It’s better to say " hasthere been a family member (not just sister, not everyone has older sisters)that had their own ideas of what is best?". I did what is best for me andI’m happy because of that.
