Shenzhen Toastmasters kept a Douban site from April 2013. It stopped being updated in late 2019 and was deleted some time between March 2021 and September 2025.
The pages themselves survive in the Internet Archive. The photographs did not: the Archive never captured a single image from the album. They turned out to still be sitting on Douban’s image servers, which had outlived the page they belonged to, so we pulled all twenty-three of them back at full size.
Comparing the archived snapshots shows the album grew in two goes. Six pictures were already there in August 2014, all of them explanatory material. The other seventeen arrived some time between May 2015 and October 2019, and they are photographs of meetings: the projected slides in two of them carry meeting numbers, which places the whole batch in the summer of 2015, in the club’s old room on the sixth floor of Xinghua Building.

Captions in quotation marks are the club's own, written onto the pictures at the time. Everything else is read off what is visible in the photograph. Dates marked “about” are worked out from the mailing list, where meeting #429 is dated 9 June 2015 and the club met weekly.

These six were already on the Douban page when the Internet Archive first captured it on 20 August 2014, so they date from 2014 or earlier. They describe the education programme Toastmasters ran before Pathways replaced it.
