Prepared speeches

Kristin opened with “Changing the impossible into the possible,” encouraging the audience to find creative and scientific ways to push boundaries. Becky followed with “Small happy things,” a humorous speech about finding joy in everyday moments. Brownie closed the prepared speeches with “If there was a song……,” using vocal variety to weave music into her message. She shared three songs after the meeting, and members responded warmly: “好好听，Brownia delivered the strongest message with the softest voice.” Others chimed in with nostalgia: “已经很久很久没有听刘的歌了.”

Impromptu Drama

The highlight of the evening was Stella’s Table Topics session, reimagined as an Impromptu Drama built around the “Yes And” principle from improv comedy. The session involved a story about Archimedes, and the room erupted. Stella summed it up afterward: “一直哈哈哈哈 我嗓子笑哑了.”

The evening

Susie brought black tea and White Rabbit candy for the group (“带 white rabbit 给你们吃”), and Tracy made sure to thank her after the meeting. Jason wrapped up the night in the foodie group: “thx all participating..made a quality meeting..and a wonderful evening very helpful old officers..very efficient new official team..lucky to have u..” Stella replied simply: “lucky to have you all.”
