The invitation

Dear Toastmasters & Friends, You are invited to 129th Chapter Meeting of Shenzhen Toastmasters Club Held on Sep. 9.

Ten years ago there were less graduates of University in China. Today more and more people graduated from University along with social development of China.

However subsequently we face much more difficulties on getting jobs and choosing jobs. Some people can get the jobs in accord with their own majors in university luckily. But more people have to give up their majors to work in a fresh field by employment pressure. Some of them are successful to change models quickly and create achievements. Some of them take long period to learn the new knowledge, survive and get quiet great progress. Also some of them are lack to adapt the new situation, can’t have relative knowledge then at loose ends.

Who works for interest, who works for life, who works just for work.

Desolation of job, Difficulty of job when we face a series of problems, we ask our-self we choose jobs or job chooses us?

Please show your points and give your opinions. Wish everyone’s work like a florid flower intersperses your colorful life.

In this meeting, our new member Warren Wong will start his adventure in SZTM Club and deliver his first speech: Warren Self-Introduction. Second speaker is our Vice President of Education Judy Zhu, a nice and wise “school” girl. Her speech title is “Make an ass of someone”. The third speaker is my mentor, Sarah He. She is always kind, passionate, active and helpful. Her speech in Adv 1.2 - Resources for Entertainment is “How to simplify your life”. The last speaker is our past president, Robert Luo. He is a competent communicator and always gives us his wonderful speeches. His speech title is “The way towards 3g”. Let us expect their fantastic speeches and find your funs in life!

Written up afterwards

We had a fantastic meeting last meeting! Well done!

Last meeting, we had 4 prepared speakers, Warren, Judy, Sarah and Robert. Congratulations! They delivered their successful speeches and shared their colorful stories and experience with us. Warren started his adventure in SZTM. Maybe he has found a new land in life. From his speech, we learn that who is Warren, his work and reason for joining in SZTM. Great speech! We can not forget Warren now! Judy showed two interesting stories in her speech. One story was one pity girl cheated by one bad boy. She had run for 1 hour because of boy’s lie.

What a bad Boy! The other story happened in 1st April. Be careful on 1st April and that is a terrible day. Also, try to control making a fool of someone. Sometimes, it is dangerous. Wow, nice lady, nice speech! Sarah gave 3 very funny and humorous stories to support her speech. Especially, mother forgot her baby. It is terrible! Make life simple, make life better. So try to have good sleeping, do not make many things together and …These are her useful advice for us. My mentor, great speech! Robert did very well in his speech as before.

I appreciate him, because he always has wonderful speech. Do you know 3G? Robert let us know much information and knowledge about 3G. Also he survived when he represented China Mobile for 3G policy to face customers’ inquiries. So competent! All the individual evaluators Apple, Rocky, Reda and Thomas were very kind and professional. They offered great feedbacks to the speakers. Michael, Lily and Apple had discovered their new roles in SZTM as TME, TTM and evaluator. Well done! Congratulations! Michael handled meeting well and smoothly with his smile and humor.

Lily gave us a good table topic and attracted many guy’s interests. Apple gave a nice evaluation speech for warren. The Ah Counter Tammy, Grammarian Jasmine and Timer Jason (ARK) worked very hard last night. And they controlled the meeting very well. For GE Emily, there is nothing but good as Michael said! She gave us good report and kind suggestions! For me, I wrote the minute for meeting and arranged a good meeting. I am very proud of all members and guests! I am improving too.
