391th Meeting
District 89 CEO Sarah He gave a workshop titled "Stay in Distinguished" at the 391st meeting, held just after the Mid-Autumn Festival. Table topics ran on the theme of gifts, Edward Zheng gave a speech on delivering training to trainees, and Shelly Choi, who had caught a cold, announced this would be her last meeting before moving abroad for work. New member Ivy Zhang was inducted, with Area Governor Hellen Duan as her mentor.

Ivy Zhang finally has spare time to upgrade herself and join in our club. She is a good mother, and believe that she also can be a good master. Her mentoris Hellen Duan, our Area governor.

SarahHe, our District 89 CEO, she really did a great job. She is always turn upwhen we need her support. She is doing a good example for our club slogan, onefor all, all for one. We have never thought that we still could held themeeting so smoothly. As we knew, after our Chinese traditional festival “Mid-autumnday”, everybody was extremely busy and tried. But finally we still couldarrange meeting as regularly, thank you our VPE, Hill and other member’s greatefforts and support, this is our team spirit, I was touched by all of you. Ifeel deeply this is the greatest team I have ever met. Even though I wasuncomfortable, but I still came here, to be honest, I love to stay here andenjoy the time with all of you. Keep doing it, our club will be more and morecharming and excellent. Well, Here are Sarah’s workshop“Stayin Distinguished” photos for your refs, you could seehow professional she is, body language and vivid face expression, all what shedid in the stage was a typical excellent example for us.
The topic tonight was Gift, our Coach Ivy Caiwas the first one who raised her hand without any hesitation, this was totallyencourage us, great job.
Our Vice VPE Julie Li is quite active, shecherish every change to go to stage, she was Ah-counter tonight, and she joinedthe table topic session as well, her table topic session speech was “a GIFT toyour good friend “Penny”. Before she has strong stage fright, but now She wasgetting better and better, so brave now, great job! This is a miracle stage, you could change yourself, no matter your character or your ideas!

Even though we really hoped that she could stay here, but that’sher dream, we are supportive team, we will support her, we will miss her.
Weinvited Edward Zheng to give his speech “Deliver a training to your trainees”, how wonderful speech it was! This is useful information for those people who wonnato be a teacher or trainer. Here is a good place that we can share some goodideas, that’s a good way to learn by mutual learning.
For those people who attended every meeting inAug they could get gift ( VPE Michael; VPM: Lancylai; SAA: Hill He; Vice VPE: Julie), our president Strong was presenting the gift to those attendance. that’sthe enthusiasm for chasing their dream. Would you like to come true your dream? Come and join us, you will realize your dream clearly.

Mostpeople always ask me the same question “ How about toastmasters club you join?”, actions speak louder than words, that’s my answer, do you think so? what weshould do is to upgrade ourselves and improve ourselves. What a big pity! Weforgot to remind members to renewal membership tonight. Everybody, come on, please renew your membership in time, renewal period: Sept 1-30th,2014.
