The notice for SZTM's 471st meeting, posted ahead of the gathering. Table topics run on the theme of hometown food, led by Celia, and prepared speeches are expected from Steven, on why he came to Shenzhen, and Koby, with Hettie evaluating him.
The club posted its own write-up that week. Some of what it said, in the words it used:

Theme: Hometown Food
Are you still in Shenzhen? If yes, we sincerely invite you to join our SZTM’s 471st meeting.
The theme Celia (TTM) prepares for you is hometown food. She is so smart, because this topic is so close to our coming Chinese Spring Festival. During Spring Festival, it is time to get over weight. Everywhere at anytime, we can enjoy many kinds of delicious food. I hope this Table Topic session can lead you to experience the Spring Festival in advance.
Another amazing thing that will happen in our SZTM is that there will be still 4 prepared speeches for you on this meeting. I can describe it as “high”, “big”, “up”. The most outstanding speakers are Steven and Koby. Honestly speaking, on last meeting, I used to ask someone:" I have never listened to Steven’s speech, why?" The answer from him was “I have never listened to his prepared speech, either” This time, as we wish, he is coming. Our most senior member Steven will bla bla with us about “why I come to Shenzhen” -Adv14.
Koby is always a very deep “playboy”. He always plays jokes on speakers on purpose or not on purpose when he makes evaluation. This time, he will be one speaker and talk about “TBC”. Hettie(evaluator), come on, make jokes back to him as much as you can. The “CL” for you this time, I want to change, is not to evaluate him, but to make jokes on him:).
Another secret I want to share with you about how senior the three attendants that i mentioned above(Steven, Koby and Hettie) are. To plus each member’s time in our club, it has been over 30 years. I wanna say, it is true love for SZTM. Meanwhile, I guess SZTM must have something that attracts them for such a long time. So please come if possible. Learn from “daka” (大咖), you will be one “daka” faster.
