479th Meeting

The club posted its own write-up that week. Some of what it said, in the words it used:

Warm and Happy Speechtopia

Our 479th meeting ended successfully as we wish. As our president Cherry said, it was a speech marathon again. All speakers did a fantastic job. Kmily told us that no matter solo travel or group travel, it was valuable. Enrich your horizon; make you life colorful. Do you know how to pronounce Ringo’s family name “Ng”? It was a secret. From his speech, we knew that that except Cherry, there is another hero in his heart, his father. His father inspired him that nothing is impossible. Michelle yang asked. “ what is your purpose in TM?” We answered, “for fun”. How warm was this respond! She told us that our toastmaster is also a kind of " Company” where there are CEO, Manager, VPPR, and SAA. The most important one is that we have a very good salesman, uncle Eric. Finally, there was a good summary - dear guest, don’t hesitate to join us. You will realize more than you saw when you were just a guest. I think only young and open minded people in Shenzhen would like to do it. Anyway, do it according to your ability, protect yourself and challenge yourself at the same time. Eric Liang, our golden salesman opened his speech by a gold sentence, “Rome is not built in one day”. By listening to his speech, we have learnt how to be a qualified contest chair. Jasmine: follow the Manual and read the Manual carefully to be a leader and influence others. The high level speaker wise opinion about leadership: mission, value, direction, persuade, support and appreciation. Everyone can be a leader, but try to lead yourself first.

What made me feel proud was that our SZTM is ALWAYS the hottest club. 10 guests came to our club to have fun and another big news is that one of them will join us. Another sweet Candy also wanted to join us as well.

Another kind of our super role in our meeting were evaluators. Honestly speaking, it is demanding to be our evaluators. I would like to extend my sincerest thanks to Nina, Dylan, Stella, Danielle, Cherry and Koby. Amanda was our new comer, good job of being An-counter tonight. Another kindly reminder is that confirm how to pronounce these names: Zach, Ringo Ng, Jasmin, Dudu, Dylan, Stella Cen, Danielle and Wheat. Happy moments are always limited. But never mind, we will meet this Thursday. Same time, same place, and some atmosphere. Come again.
