Modern Love Story
The 488th meeting review recapped a 'Modern Love Story' themed night, including ten table topics speeches on subjects from trial marriage to online dating. Prepared speeches came from Demi Huang, Candy Yang and Michael Liu delivering their ice-breakers, and the meeting named Dudu Tang, Koby Sa, Candy Yang and Carol Ban as best speakers.
The club posted its own write-up that week. Some of what it said, in the words it used:
Koby said it’s his first time to hear about naked marriage, after marriage the couple will be naked in somewhere, but …And also it’s his first time to hear about tried marriage, he said marriage is not like the choice of clothes, the divorce rate growth is because of so many choices now. If he had tried marriage, then his wife will not be the same one
Carol asked what left of naked marriage? The anwser is future and love.
She shared her own story before joined Toastmaster and even sang a song before she started her speech.

TME-Dudu Tang, fabulous meeting always has a fabulous toastmaster, as a new member, she did a great job.
MOT-Yolanda Liu, who gave the chances to the speakers with free thought.
Timer-Jimmy Zhang, he played a responsible role with tender heart and listed two “talk machine”.
Grammarian-Vivi Xie, as an English Teacher, we just like had an interesting class from her, reminded us tense in English is very important.
Ah-counter-Sunny Wang, She must fell in love with ah、oh、en… she had played this role constantly two week.
Opening and Closing Remarks-Eric Liang, our Ex president took over the job while Cherry was absent for the contest.
The world is beautiful because of you, the meeting was fabulous because of every hard-working facilitators.
Heartful Atry Xiao used sweet card tempted 10 speakers to share their stories and feelings.
From Bell’s topic of Trial Marriage to Cherry’s topic of Flash Marriage and Carol’s topic of Naked Marriage until Ella’s topic of Divorce.Carol asked what left of naked marriage? The anwser is future and love. From these topics we learned: Find a right person before get married is very important.
Before getting married we have dating of course. so from Ken’s topic of Online Dating to Cooky’s topic of Romantic Dating Place which is temple and Robin’s topic of Long Distance Relationship、Kevin’s topic of Leftover Lady、Michelle’s topic of Wealth Or True Love to Penny’s topic of Honneymoon. We learned:❶ Distance makes heart grow fonder.❷True love without wealth is the best way to test love.❸The best way to leave loneliness alone is coming to the Toastmaster.

Because of their carefully listening skills and powerful checking skills made every speaker had learned from mistakes, made their next speech much better.
