Eric Liu memorized his grandma in his heart by remembering the Monkey King story.

The most interesting part was two strong guys did 10 push-ups because they failed in the warm-up game.

Wiki told me A fairy tale is a type of short story that typically features folkloric fantasy characters, such as dwarves, elves, fairies, giants, gnomes, goblins, mermaids, trolls, or witches, and usually magic or enchantments.

That’s sounds interesting.

And we will talking about this theme in our Table Topic session, you can share with us the interesting Fairy Tale that you heard before or you can create a brand new one.👐😄👐I believe Every man’s life is a fairy tale written by God’s fingers.

The first image came to my mind is a tortoise when i saw the word of slow. We all heard about the story of a race beteew a tortoise and a rabbit, at the end, the tortoise won the race. Slow is fast as long as you never stop, What are the other stories can prove this phrase?

In winter, every time when I changed my coat I could find some extra money in my pocket, and my facial expression just like the photo. what are the things made Michelle have same facial expression as the photo?

It doesn’t matter, just enjoy our Fairy Tale party tonight! Come with me!

Our fairy NinaLinbecame a pink mermaid this time and gave us a new warm-up game, called ‘three four upside down, seven eight up and down’.

Everybody had the chance to join in this game, so funny. The most interesting part was two strong guys did 10 push-ups because they failed in the warm-up game. This was the beginning of strength.

Our president Cherry Zhang said her goal was to try to make a difference every time, even it was just a little small one. To make a difference, we have so many “first time “ tonight.

Miss surprise, Summon Guan took her role as TME (toastmaster of the evening) the first time.

She said she was very excited to have an excuse to dress formally in this big “party”. See~ suddenly she became a magical princess, ‘mirror, mirror, make me more beautiful~~’

Our current president, a powerful lady: Miss Carol Ban challenged her first TTM(table topic master).

A meaningful theme reminds us all the happy moments( how about use ‘memories’) in our childhood.

Fairy tales played an important role for us when we were children. All the story titles Carol offered let us go back to our childhood once again.

Our pro-active lady, Atry Xiao did her first ice-breaking speech tonight.

She shared her experience about how to accept her weakness, and at last it might be transferred to the strength. That is how she found her husband.

Our professional IELTS teacher Vivi Xie did her first try as TTE (table topic evaluation).

She highlighted the shining points for all speakers as well as TTM and also gave some useful tips, such as let your eyebrows dance, use your body language, gesture while speaking etc. It was not only the evaluation but also a great encouragement for the speakers.

Great job! I thought a lot of members envied her fascinating performance; you couldn’t image how awesome she was. Just come with us and share together.

Our new member & loyal friend Bell Tang took MOT(moment of truth)as his first role in his journey of Toastmaster. Keep trying, we’re expecting for your difference.

Congrats for all these speakers to take their first step to make a difference.

If taking the first step is brave, then it needs more persistence to keep doing it.

The facilitating team: The sexy girl Sunny Wang always didn’t allow others to talk about sexy.Nina Lin tried to make a different ah-counter again and also provide some alternatives of repeated unnecessary words.

Louis Liu recorded more beautiful sentences this time. (Nina mentioned Louis made less unnecessary words than before.) Small try made it perfect step by step.

Cici encouraged us to make efforts to fulfill our dream even there was no incredible ink in the world.

Hosea was very honest to admit his emperor’s clothes and inspired us to try harder to become a better person.

Michael said we should try to do what we want to experience even though others told you not to do.

The prepared speech speakers:

A strong mother: Dudu Tang told us about the frustrations in her career and her family. She thought we should take it as a normal emotion so that we could think positively, live happily.

Gentleman Ryan Zhang shared his story in learning English and showed us how slow became fast. He also reminded us the 5 steps of learning a language: listen/repeat→imitate/record→compare→repair→review.

Another proactive mother: Michelle Yang showed us how she got more than expected in the DASHAHE activity, and inspired us to join our activities as much as we can. I see a potential leader in her heart~

The evaluation team was always the greatest supporter:Brother Eric Liu/Elly Zheng/Danielle Ouyang/Uncle Eric Liang/Michael Liu always held the stage and made speakers feel more confident by giving a lot of useful suggestions.

We also had two special parts tonight–

New Member Introduction:

Four members choose to join our big family, they are-Atry Xiao, Vivi Xie, Michael Chan and Bell Tang, four experienced old members:Nick Gong, Koby Sa, Danielle Ouyang and Nina Lin are assigned to help them grow.

Full attendance award: Uncle Eric, Carol Ban, Michael Liu, Lily Zhou, Elly Zheng, Michelle Yang. And Uncle Eric got a five-star certificate as he was always present at every meeting for five months. Wow, amazing!
