I had a date, not with just one person but a group of lovely guys.

Same daySame time

In Chinese history, the cowherd and the weaver girl loved each other very much, but they couldn’t meet till every lunar July 7.

Their loyalty to love touched magpies, so every year thousands of magpies build a bridge for them to meet.

Tonight we built a bridge of friendship, for our members, guests and friends from Sunshine club and Shenzhen Mandarin Club.

Table topic How many Chinese Festivals do you know?

Atry Xie brought us a box of gifts and the table topic ’ Festival ‘. When you heard the sound ’ Bang ’ each time, it meant speakers began with their topics.

Arbor Day Our Sunshine club friend Candy shared her opinion about Tree-planting day. She encouraged us to protect and love our earth land. Planting is a long process, which needs a long time to irrigate and care. Children’s Day When we were children, we had our own celebration for our days. Koby Sa still celebrated the Children’s day though he was not a child any more. He drank with friends in this special day by talking about kids. He said ‘Being like children, it may lead you think creatively.’ We are children in front of parents. Mother’s Day When Mother’s or Father’s Day comes, what will you prepare for them, red envelopes or clothes etc…? Our guest Jiao Jiao would like to express gratitude to their parents on this day.

What’s the similarity between Christmas Day and Mid-autumnFestival?

Christmas Day Judy Guo said ‘Christmas Day is also a family gathering day in western country. For me, it is also a big sales day, so I will go shopping and buy something for myself.‘Mid-autumn Festival Cherry Zhang said ’ Mid-autumn Festival is familiar to us; people sit together to enjoy the mooncakes and have a family gathering in China.’

What does Single Day and Valentine’s Day mean to you?

Single Day Karry Zhan said that she didn’t enjoy the ‘11.11 Single-Day’ before as she has been married when this special day was created. She encouraged us to enjoy our everyday, and then every day will be special for us. Valentine’s Day Valentine’s Day is a day for couples. Summon Guan thought Singles were free because they had more time to do what they really want instead of having dinner or watching movie with lovers on this day.

CC1 How to say “No”

As a mother with a six-year-old son, Karry Zhan always faces with many requirements from his boy. She is really a smart mother as she always has different ways to lead her boy to do what he should do.

How to say ‘No’ is a long journey, and we need more time to think about it.

CC3 Love

Maxwell Zhang is the example. He and his fiancéehave beenseparated in different cities for eight years. Distance and time brought him deep love to his fiancéeinstead of conflict and reminded him to cherish his fiancée.

Our gentleman Koby Sa told us a touching story about Chinese Fairy Tale of Cowherd and Weaver Girl. Many people are separated because of life, and problem in our life like the Queen of Heaven(王母娘娘). She separatesthe lovers in different cities. Distance and time purify something, and they make your love hopely, purely and clean. Only spiritual part leave here, such as forgiveness, sympathy and trust etc…

If you want to keep the love, keep the relationship with your girlfriend/boyfriend, trust him/her, spiritually purify, then you will get the result. Yes,
