512th Meeting
The 512th meeting was organized around three "scenes." In the first, Koby Sa challenged speakers to connect two random words, drawing responses from Cherry Zhang, Carol Ban and Lynn Lei among others. The second scene had members describe their dream homes and travels, including Celia Li's trip to Barcelona and David Xing's memories of his father writing a book, before the meeting closed with awards and appreciation for facilitators and attendees.
The club posted its own write-up that week. Some of what it said, in the words it used:
His father spent 12 years to write his book, and if all the scripts(original and revised counted) were piled up, it was 0.5 meters high. Similar to his father, David persisted in helping his father to type it into the computer as well as revising them.
Nikki found it really difficult to establish the link between"Yellow&Tea" because there’s no “yellow tea"in the world. But Koby said"We Chinese drink black tea and become yellow”

How did you feel about our last meeting? I just want to use one word to describe it, that’s “wisdom”. Our meeting was full of wisdom this Tuesday.
Cherry said it’s very important to create a scene(场景) in our speech. So I would like to use three scenes to help you recall all the intellectual moments happened on Sep 6th 2016.
Scene1：Thought Collision
It was a windy and dark evening. Koby Sa was trying to challenge all the speakers who dared to run into his sight. He asked all the audiences to say two words randomly and the speaks were required to find out the connection between them.
However, the experienced speakers weren’t afraid of the challenge he gave.
Cherry Zhang made a connection between “North” and “key” message. She told us, “If you know where North is, you get the point. If you get the point, you hold the key.”
Carol Ban put it, “Even there are differences among people from South to North, people smell the same will have the same taste to gather together.”
Lynn Lei wished to have a big wardrobe with her clothes inside as well as the luxury LV bought by her boyfriend in the future and she would enjoy her life more. Another grandpa who was same age like Koby—Hosea Liu thought there were thousands of beauties, so he decided to go to Suzhou to look for the beauties. However, he couldn’t find out any beauties. Instead, he saw beauties with ages. They might not look good. But the words they speak were beyond compare, Koby called it “LV” word. Nikki found it really difficult to establish the link between”Yellow&Tea” because there’s no “yellow tea”in the world. But Koby said"We Chinese drink black tea and become yellow"— (！。！), really? Forget it, just enjoy our skin color and enjoy drinking tea every day. Our uncle Eric Liang was enthusiastic to tell all the audiences that to be humorous on the stage, you need to launch a “rocket” first. Grab any chance to go to the stage and don’t hesitate, just do it! (I think Nike should pay us advertising fee, haha~(≧▽≦)/~)
Scene2： Our memoirs
Have you ever dreamed of having a big house? Have you ever thought of living near the seaside and take a trip to wherever you want to go? Have you ever wanted to write a book to record your life? Is that very attractive for you to live your 十年? Tonight, each speaker gave us a perspective of it.
Celia Li memorized her trip to Barcelona, which illustrates that strangers don’t mean dangers. Go traveling give us chances to become more open to others’ culture, and to be brave in a new environment. The most important is the joy that a trip brings us. Rania Chen had a house near the seaside. She could go and play by the sea everyday and receive love from her family. She could plant different kinds of plants and raise different animals… How amazing it is! However, it’s in the future. Fight for it, Rania, and we hope we all can be invited in the future. David Xing was a persistent and proactive speaker. When I heard the story about how his father wrote his own book, then I believed that “Children are like their parents”. His father spent 12 years to write his book, and if all the scripts(original and revised counted) were piled up, it was 0.5 meters high. Similar to his father, David persisted in helping his father to type it into the computer as well as revising them. I believe he will become another miracle in our club in the future. 唐金秋再次讲到了她的十年抗战，和自己，婆婆和小孩子的战斗，让她学会了宽容和自我的成长，最终收获了属于她的那一份幸福。幽默的风格逗乐了全场的观众，笑声一阵接一阵，此起彼伏。愿我们都像她一样，虽然一生都在与不同的人和事抗战，但是一生都是痛并快乐的幸福着。Scene3: 2A，Award and AppreciationAwards for the best
