New Officer Election

The club posted its own write-up that week. Some of what it said, in the words it used:

President needs to support others, and support means to help others Her boys Help others is a great thing, we want our mother to be the president in SZTM

Louis insisted to speak for him, Louis thinks Steven has a big heart, and because of Steven has stayed in TM more than 9 years, so Steve is very experienced.

Nina was nominated by Candy Lei, Candy thinks Nina is a diligent girl. Nina has experienced this role before, she told us this is a tough role but can gain a lots of things. so don’t say no to her when she asks you to join her team.

530th Meeting Review

😁 theme: New Officer Election😀

This was an wonderful officer election, but we still have one prepared speech, so let’s see the speech first.

Prepared speech& Evaluation: CC3-Judy Guo

Judy Guo shared several stories to let us know how she improved her relationship with her mother in law. When she was not happy with her mother in law, Judy will reminds herself:

1. She is my husband's mom, how I treat her will influence how my parents be treated by my husband.

2. I'm not perfect enough, I need to overcome my shortcoming first.

3. I do need her help to take care of my baby.

4. One day, I will be someone else's mother in law.

In her point of view, won the battle in the family doesn’t mean you really win, let her win, you will be the true winner.

Immediately Evaluation-Carol Ban

Because of the election, so our president needs to do the evaluation immediately. Carol thinks Judy is a smart wife, and Judy reached her CC3’s goal-get to the point. To lose the battle, win her heart.

Officer Election:

TME Cherry Zhang, she started the election with this sentence: We don’t need to be excellent to get start, once you start, you will be excellent.

During the election, every candidate was nominated by more than one speaker. But I will not go to share all of them.

Big role- President:1st candidate-Nina Lin

Nina Lin is our Secretary, she did a great job of this role, we can see she is responsible. Also she said she has a great family behind her just like Trump has a great daughter behind him, so she believes she can take this big role.

2nd candidate-Danielle Ouyang

Before Danielle went to the stage, Candy Lei let us go through Danielle’s previous speech told us Danielle is an experienced and responsible toastmaster.

Danielle appreciates what she gained from SZTM, she has found the best of herself here, so she wants to devote for this club. if she can be the president, she will focus on:

1. Meeting quality
2. Care for the members

3rd candidate-Steven Su

Louis insisted to speak for him, Louis thinks Steven has a big heart, and because of Steven has stayed in TM more than 9 years, so Steve is very experienced.

Steven said if he took this role, he will let everyone learn something from TM, let every member make a progress, let SZTM become more former.

4th candidate-DuDuTang

Dudu gets along with her mother in law and her two boys very well. She had asked her boys before she decided to become a candidate:

Do you guys wants me to be the president in SZTM?

wow, that’s very great, but what does president do?

Help others is a great thing, we want our mother to be the president in SZTM

Dudu said to us: “Give me a chance, I will be here to support you.”

Candy Lei was nominated to be the president, but she refused because of her study plan.

VPE:1st Candidate-Candy Yang

Candy saw so many great meeting organized by hard-working officers, she felt very appreciated, so she would like to do something to this club, if vote for her, she will make a difference.

2nd Candidate-Lily Zhou

Carol nominated her, Carol saw her potential, and Lily never missed any important meeting.

Lily also wants to devote herself to SZTM, she spoke of"vote for me" for three times. You know, that’s an important thing.

3rd Candidate-Nina Lin

She said before she decided to make a speech about running for the President, she was thinking about being the VPE, she can arrange every meeting to let people to have fun.

Judy Guo nominated sincere David Xing to be the VPE, but David couldn’t accept because he will be very busy in the next few months.

Kevin nominated Eric Liu to be the VPE, but Eric refused because he has many business trips.

The election was so exciting than every previous election. Cherry said: “Let your fire burn.”

Guess who is our new president? Dudu Tang.

VPM:1st candidate-Wilson Li

Danielle thinks Wilson is a passionate and humorous man which is very suitable for this role.

Wilson saw 7 goddess on the stage at last election, he said it is time for man to take the power back, and care is very important for this role, he will show his smile to every member and guest, and his job is similar as this role, he will take this role as well as how he does his job.

2nd candidate-Sunny Wang

Sunny promised she will arrange more activities if she becomes VPM, she thinks her promise will be good for the single dogs.

Candy Yang is our New VPE.

VPPR:1st candidate-Louis Liu

Louis knows this role very well, he wants to challenge himself to take this job.

2nd candidate-Sunny Wang

She was nominated by others, she thinks this will be a great chance to improve herself.

3rd candidate-Nina Lin

Nina was nominated by Candy Lei, Candy thinks Nina is a diligent girl. Nina has experienced this role before, she told us this is a tough role but can gain a lots of things. so don’t say no to her when she asks you to join her team.

Wilson Li is our new VPM.(fist man to be the officer, here should have a big round of applause)

Secretary:1st Candidate-Rex Zhou

Eric Liu is a picky person, but when Eric checked Rex’s speech, there was no mistake at all, so Uncle Eric thinks Rex will suit this role.

Rex said he is very confident to takes this role, and he wants to serve for us.

2nd candidate-Candy Lei

Candy was nominated by others, she really wants to do something which she is good at for SZTM, so she wants to be the Secretary.

Nina Lin is our new VPPR.

Cherry said this election was so dramatic, lots of things we can’t image, but this is life.

Treasure:1st candidate-Elly Zheng

Elly is a careful girl, she did this role before, so she wants to do it better than last time.

Lily Zhou was nominated by Danielle, but Lily didn’t accepts this role because she doesn’t like the money which is not belong to her.

Rex Zhou is our new secretary.
Elly Zheng is our new Treasure.

Sergeant At Arms:1st candidate-Amanda Xiong

Amanda is a kind girl, she did many times of SAA before in different club, she gained so many award. Also she is a beautiful girl, so Amanda can attract more guests.
