551st Meeting
The 551st meeting, the club's last before the lunar new year, ran table topics on the theme of a time machine, hosted by Sean and evaluated by Kevin. Prepared speeches included Candy Yang on 'Time is your choice', inspired by a TED talk, and Vivi Xie on why she joined Toastmasters. Former member Tiffany Guan returned to visit and brought a cake.

This was the last meeting of the lunar calendar of 2016——the Monkey Year. It was another fantabulous meeting again.
Table Topic Section
The table topic of the night was time machine. Sean hosted this section(Kevin evaluated this section).
Speakers were invited to describe the feelings and words they would like to tell themselves and our audiences.
Some imagined that they would be living happily with their children and husband. Some recalled the golden age of the past. It was both emotional and interesting.
Prepared Speech
Ivy: The appointment in Samarra.
Life is not always flat and full of destinies but also it’s our choice that make it happen.
Candy Yang: Time is your choice.
She was inspired by TED talk and she shared the basic method with our dear members and distinguished guests.
Vivi Xie: why toastmaster?
She told us her experience with Toastmaster and she encouraged people to join it.

She also brought us a delicious cake. We felt the happiness while enjoying the cake during the meeting break! TM is a place where we can meet people alike and make friends.
