It is essentially worth mentioning that all of the prepared topic speakers were female. Where were the male prepared topic speakers in SZTM?

In the warm-up game session of SZTM’s 582th routine meeting on 1st August 2017, Sharon Wu invited six persons to challenge their memory. Very interesting! There were 37 members and guests attending this essential meeting.

Table Topic

The theme was about unforgettable birthdays. The word of today was essential. In the table topic speaking session, Allen, Nathan, Dudu, Hermione, Talia, Sharon, Wilson, Eva, David and Lex came to the podium to share their unforgettable birthdays one after another. Ten guests and members in table topic speech session! So proactive!

Prepared Speech

In the prepared speech session, Sophia Zheng delivered her CC2 speech entitled ‘The Freestyle of SZTM’, Jane Yang her CC3 ‘Fight or Flight, It’s Algorithm’, Talia Chen her CC5 ‘How to accomplish my to do list’, and Selina Yuan her CC8 ‘The Power of Good Stories-telling’. It is essentially worth mentioning that all of the prepared topic speakers were female. Where were the male prepared topic speakers in SZTM?

Guest Sharing

Our new member Martin Zhan first time held the session of Guest Sharing Time. There were 10 distinguished guests being present. Sincerely welcome them!

Next session president Eva introduced four new members who embarked their toastmaster journeys in SZTM and their four mentors. The fresh members were Zoe Zhang, Nathan Zhang, Sophie Cai and Martin Zhan. Warmly welcome them!

Evaluation

As the evaluators, Carol Ban, Michelle Yang, Nathan Zhang, Eva Chen, Candy Yang gave their independent evaluations respectively on the table topic and prepared topic speeches. As the facilitators, Sophia Cai, Michael Liu and Zoe Zhang at first introduced the relevant rules and in the end distributed their brief reports respectively of the ah-counter, the grammarian and the timer. As the general evaluator, Dereck Zeng was expected to sing his evaluation. Nothing is impossible. May be next time he would made it to fly again.

In the end president Eva invited Dudu to confer Carol Ban, Sean, Lex and Selina winners of the best performance awards of this amazing and unforgettable meeting.

Also sincerely appreciate their diligent jobs of Allen Peng, Sandy Zhang, Sunny Wang, Amanda, David King, and other fellow members and guests mentioned and not mentioned.
