584th Meeting

The club posted its own write-up that week. Some of what it said, in the words it used:

August 11th

The 584th meeting was not the regular meeting, but the crazier SZTMers were still rushing and gathering no matter how busy and how exhausted they were. We had 17 members and 3 beautiful guests attending this meeting.

☀ Warm Up Session ☀

Thanks to our kindly Eric Brother, he is so talented and always available and ready for any emergency calls. As Eva’s unexpected overtime work, our Brother took over her role for the warm up session, which everyone joined and had a big fun in his game.

✪ Table Topic Session ❖

He also took over the responsibility of table topic master for Candy Yang. What a fabulous impromptu table topic event Eric Brother offered for the impromptu speakers! In this session, Wenzel shared us with the most embarrassed moment in his life, which I thought was so cold. Sean sang his most favorite song– HaiKuoTianKong from the singer Xin, wow, SZTM club is full of talented people! Tonight we had a very special guest, named Stasia, who is from Russian, St Petersburg. She told us the boy she loved so deeply and their age gap was huge. I was so curious about “her boyfriend”, but it was turned out to be her big brother! What a wily and lovely speech she delivered. Eva illustrated the deep love of her Dad. Our sincere guest Carol described the people who influenced her most, and finally, Samantha vividly demonstrated the most unforgettable experience happened in the airplane when she got seriously sick.

♫ Prepared Speech Session ☊

In the prepared speech, new member Martin Zhan did his ice breaker speech, from his speech, we figured out that Martin is really a crazy guy, as crazy as SZTMers, so that’s why he loves SZTM so much! Scarllate He argued the relationship between the value and price and gave us her lesson: never losing the greater for the less. However, our grandpa had different opinions, his perspective is usually wider and more philosophical. Sean Gao delivered his CC7 speech, focusing on his profession of career coach, where he illustrated the life-career rainbow, wish everyone has a splendid, colorful life-career rainbow. Rania Chen persuaded us to save money through saving by analyzed the current economic pressure for the majority of young people.

This meeting really had lots of accidents mainly because of the absence, our beautiful TME Talia Chen did a good job and handled neatly, she prepared well and found people who can substitute immediately for the sudden absence. For instance, for the guest sharing time, she asked her lovely boyfriend Sean to do it and test him in front of three beautiful female guests! Of course, in Sean’s eye, only you……hahaha!

♡ The Evaluation Session ❀

For the evaluation session, Michael Liu did a table topic evaluation in very experienced way. And then for the individual evaluations, Yoki Zhang spoke really like a machine gun shooting bullets. I really had a strong paradigm shift about this ‘quiet’ inrovert girl. Wenzel, a wolf from Mongolian Prairie，always had a brilliant and blandly novel idea to evaluate, this time, he used his name! Eva Chen did the evaluation and it was pleasure to know the Talia like the way Eva evaluated Sean! Allen Chen, who did CC5, really did a big challenge to evaluated Rania, who did CC9. I admired his courage but next time not recommend to take this kind of risk!

The meeting won’t go well without our faciliators, Martin did his first timer role and very strict, I like it! We need more and more strict and powerful timers to improve the time management of SZTM. Old driver–David King was busy at doing both the Ah-counter and photographer. Really appreciated his great contribution. The meeting was so fabulous and successful that the Grammarian Sunny Tan was laughing too much and nearly forgot her roles. Never mind, learn by doing, looking forward her second performance as a grammarian. The general evaluation of Huluwa grandpa Koby was the most humorous and gorgeous part of the meeting: he observed so carefully and every single cell of grandpa was so humorous that we could not help to burst into laughter until tears pouring out.

So happy that Talia, Sean, Koby, Stasia won the awards for the best! Congratulations! And also acknowledge our officers’s efforts: Eva, Sharon, Sunny, Tiffany, David, Allen, Amanda, and Jane!

In moment of truth, Rania expressed her love to the club and how much she missed the club! Whatever you do, just remember, here we are equal; wherever you are, just remember, here you can relax; whenever you go, just remember, here is your home! Roads take you back our SZTM home!
