601st Meeting

The club posted its own write-up that week. Some of what it said, in the words it used:

There was a warm up game brought by our humorous brother Michael. It was about passing things to another person one by one, if the thing fell down on the ground which meants you lose the game, and you should jump three times, meanwhile made a sound like a wolf.

After the fiercely exciting playing, finally, the team I was in which lost the game, and we got the punishment, but it is was fun.

Spent all your income to buy a small apartment in Shenzhen, but you don’t know how to enjoy your life.

To my surprise, Sharon Wu is quite enjoy to being 房奴, and she dreams of being a 房奴 in Shenzhen, she thinks that means her dream comes true. She is willing to spend all her income for it.

In another way, maybe when she owns the apartment, she would feel she belongs to this big city. Maybe she is lack of safety in her heart.

Playboy or 文艺青年 2

The difference between
play boy and 文艺青年

I was so satisfied by Sophia’s opinion. She said that most people just pick up one role for themselves, one is play boy, or 文艺青年, but she thought that is no conflict between play boy and 文艺青年.

People play different role in different times. When she was a teenager, she was a “play boy”, she didn’t like going to school, but she liked hanging out with friends. After she grow up and work for herself, she realizes that she need to be a 文艺青年, she should know enough knowledge that she can own the support from clients and bosses.

So from her point of view, no difference between play boy and 文艺青年, just play a different role at different times.

啃老

You are jobless and haven’t find a good job over six months yet. Now you are living with your parents, people say you are 啃老, is it true?

I have the same feeling with Eric brother. After he graduated from school, he didn’t find a job successfully in a few months. At that time, he was living with his parents.

One day morning, he woke up earlier and coincidently he heard something from his parents. His mother talked to the father carefully, “I am worried about Eric, I know he is not bad in school, but now why he doesn’t take an action to find a job.” After he heard that words, he thought he needs to grow up and take responsibilities for himself, not just rely on his parents at home, so he tried his best to build a good life for himself and his parents.

Leon is a charming man in my sight. Especially when he said 白富美 may not be a good girlfriend or good wife. He cares more about girls’ inner beauty and good personality. He thinks that a couple should have some common value, similar interest and hobbies.

Besides, no matter what life is easy or hard, they can smile and fight for it together, that is most important thing for his girl.

Chaoshan Culture

People say Chaoshanese are good at doing business, but you are not even though you come from Chaoshan district.

Just like Allen Peng said, wherever you are from, if you want to do business, you should be trustworthy and take responsibility.

He shared his experience for us. One time, he took a mistake in his job, and the client was his classmate, he went to his office and made apologize sincerely. Right now, they are still good friends.

You have a child, people like to judge your child’s personality, do you mind it? why?

I think Aaron’s point is quite sharp. He would not allow anyone to judge his child. whoever you are, his friends or workmates, everyone shouldn’t judge his child’s personality.

He mentioned to imagine you have a child, how’s your feeling when people judge your child, that is the good point that he stands on the other side to think.

You are a second rich generation, you work so hard to prove your ability, but people still think you are a second rich generation.

CK said that he wishes he is a rich generation, actually he isn’t. What he talked to us is rich people are not just rich, they also have family history and culture. They know how to explore the ways to do business, with good attitude to face life. In the end, CK suggested that we should learn from their attitude of life.

1 A story aboutNegative Equity

It was my first time to listen Wilson Liao’s speech, before I saw his topic, I couldn’t image that the topic is talking about housing. After his speech, I confirmed that buying apartment must be terrible for my life.

Firstly, he talked about American’s standard for income usage per month. They divide the income into four cups. 10% is for daily usage, 20% is for accident payment, 30% is for housing payment, and 40% is for the long term education.

Secondly, he shared a different story for us. His friend, a middle age engineer, with high level salary, after he bought an apartment in Shanghai, his life became messy than before. Every month, in his income system, 70% of it for the apartment, 25% for family daily usage, and just 5% for some insurance, this kind of occupation is not normal for family. After 5 month, his income totally can’t afford his spending, so he decided up to sell the apartment out, unfortunately, after struggling with buyer for a few months, he sold it out, but it just 60 percent of the original price.

From this case, I think we should be careful to buy an apartment, especially when we don’t have enough money to support it.

2 Making Friends with Books

James Liu shared us three stories about books. After sharing the story, he told us that selecting a good book is just like making a good friend. It is no hurry to find a book to read, choosing a good book is more important. In a word, making friends with books, you can get much feedback than you think.

The first story, when James started to read book, he couldn’t know clearly about the story, because some of words he didn’t know, but he was curious about what the story talking about, so he tried his effort to recognize words. From this story, we can know that he wanted to explore more in the book at that time.

The second story, when he was in junior middle school, his teacher gave him a book, 平凡的世界. One evening, he lighted a candle, reading the book attentively in the light. He was so addicted to it. What a surprise, his hair got burned by the candle. What a cute worm who love the book.

The third story, it was happened to him to read a book, 聊斋志异, that was a fantastic book, talking more about love story between ghost and immortal. It was his first time to read such kind of book, he never knowed that ghost and immortal also can have relationship. James opened his mind and imagination again.

3 The Tips to sell

Danielle Ouyang shared us three tips about selling. She invited her good partner Lilian to play as a customer in her gift shop, and she was the owner of the gift shop. Then they played a shortly TV series on the stage.

During their dialog, we can know Danielle’s skill for selling product.

Firstly, if you want to sell products successfully, you need to know clearly about customer’s need, then you should introduce some matched products proactively for customer to choose.

Secondly, make sure the customer decides up to buy something, then you can try some discount to make this product deal.

The last important thing is your professional service, you should show warm heart and patience during the conversation.
