608th Meeting
SZTM's 608th meeting on 12 February 2018, the last regular meeting before Chinese New Year, opened with VPM Sandy's finger-catching game set to the Zootopia theme song. Eva Chan hosted a Table Topics round on culture shock, and four prepared speeches followed: Michelle Yang retelling the folk tale of Zhang Liang and the old man, new member April Luo's ice-breaker, Dudu Tang completing her CC manual with "Live Happily," and Sunny Wang's talk titled "Cherish".
The club posted its own write-up that week. Some of what it said, in the words it used:

), buddies begin to go around by circle. Everybody fingers touching and being touched by each other. Once while the music stop, whose finger been caught, he / she is out.

The game is so good that successfully ignite the atmosphere. It is a wonderful idea that worth a try to involve more buddies to join.
Our beautiful and elegant VPPR Zoe is our TME tonight. She was too busy to attend our meeting for weeks. We all miss her so much.
It is so great to see her coming back to us.

President Nathan Zhang is our timer, Louis Liu is our Ah Counter, and Wilson Liao is our grammarian.

Table Topic
Eva Chan served a very good table topic- “culture shock”.
She has years’ experience of studying and working in Switzerland and Europe. She shared and invited all of our table topic speaker to share each one’s culture shock story.

They either put some value on their speech, from which we can learn something, or made us laugh and laugh.

1 Zhang Liangand the old man

Michelle Yang prepared a folk tale《Zhang Liang and the old man》. she used vivid imagery and voice to enhance the tale. This an entertaining and enjoyable folk tale for all age group Chinese.

April Luo is our new member. Tonight, she prepared her CC1 ice breaker. She introduced her story to all buddies.

3 Live Happily

Dudu Tang’s CC10 put all the audience’s feeling and inspire the audience, she make a connection between her story and all the audience. We are all learning how to live happily.
Also congratulations to Dudu for her finishing all her CC speeches.
4 Cherish

Our sun goddess Sunny Wang. Sunny prepared the touching photos and video. Cherish the moments in SZTM.
Not only warming the audiences up, but also keeping all the audiences warm and touched.

Shenzhen is a magic city, most of our buddies come from all over China to fight for our future. And in every eve of our lunar new year, buddies are busying preparing for the trip back to hometown for the family gathering.
Lunar new year is actually the true new year for all Chinese.
