641st Meeting

The club posted its own write-up that week. Some of what it said, in the words it used:

Fish broke up with her girlfriend but now became a better person, and Kody described Fish had swum out of the pot and now towards the ocean. What a meaningful conclusion to Fish’s speech.

Just 2 hours before the meeting, Lily was asked to replace Mario to be the TTE. Lily accepted and did so well as if she had prepared for a long time.

He acted vividly on how her girlfriend broke up with him and outlined his feeling of sadness and sorrow. His performance just made us feel like we were right there at that moment. Sorrow didn’t defeat him and he confronted the truth finally.

Do you still remember the 15th anniversary held last Saturday? It was really awesome and members, guest or children were all enjoyed themselves very much. Thanks for all the organizers’ devotion did the meeting go so well and created such a wonderful memory for us.

Soon we came to the 641st regular meeting on 11th September.

As a part of warming up games，Sunny Wang Lian invited us to follow her to do morning exercise. Well, it was so funny and brought us back to childhood memory.

part 2roles introduce

Unlike being nervous for the first time as SAA last week, Link Lian took the same role for the second time. Obviously he made great progress where he behaved more calm, more fluent and most importantly more confident. Big applause to his huge progress.

Koby Sa has always been wise, modest and houmous. It was considerable for him to figure out the changes of the roles at the beginning.As TME, he connected the speaker with his speech content very quickly. For example,Fish broke up with her girlfriend but now became a better person, and Kody described Fish had swum out of the pot and now towards the ocean. What a meaningful conclusion to Fish’s speech. Koby was our idle and had set an excellent example for us.

Vivian Liu acted as the grammarian and had the theme word “integral ”. Although few of us used it in speeches but we learned a new word, right?

Nathan, fell in love with a girl in his class and tried every effort to get closer to her, in and off the class.

Sheron,shared her simple but innocent childhood memory about playing with friends and had a lot of fun even it was just running and chasing.

Jane, she fell in love with her partner secretly when in badminton team. In the end she gave up and let the memory go.

Amiee, was too nervous to speak English. So, she shared her story of her first job in Shenzhen in Chinese. As long as you stand up and try, you will be better next time. Believe yourself. SZTM warmly welcome you to come.

Lizhen introduced himself in his ice-break speech Nice to meet you. From his speech, we knowed that his nick name was Dabiaoge, and his favourite hobby was Marital art. With his well-prepared practice before, he behaved so natural that he had zero unnecessary word during his speech. What a great job. Nice to meet you too, Lizhen.

Joan gave her speech aimed at researching and presenting on How to read a book. I like Joan’s style, fresh, houmous, fluent like wind, and her English expression as natural as a native speaker. There is a clue throughout her speech: performing the scene in life; figuring out the questions; sending quiz to collect data in advance; revealing the results in chats; providing 4 tips on solving the problems; finally extending the theme on reading“learn it, get used to it, then enjoy it.”Joan reached all the requirements of the pathway, giving us inspiration on how to read a book. It was a master piece.

Fish, performed his speech on CC9 on persuading with power, titled Destination. He acted vividly on how her girlfriend broke up with him and outlined his feeling of sadness and sorrow. His performance just made us feel like we were right there at that moment. Sorrow didn’t defeat him and he confronted the truth finally. The shortage of his speech was he failed to mention what destination the story lead to. Anyway, it didn’t bother Fish to win the best speaker.

PART 3

If you want to perform well in hark master, you had to listen very carefully during the meeting.

Carol lifted up 10 questions about what had happened during the meeting, raising the atmosphere to the highest points of tonight.

At last, I want to say thank you to our hardworking VPE,Joan. In order to better improve prepared speech quantity, she come up with an idea that having the present members to write down their ideas or the suggestions for each prepared speaker. So that, they will received evaluations from more than IE or mentor. Joan made this awesome idea into action. Big applause to Joan.
