Teacher

The club posted its own write-up that week. Some of what it said, in the words it used:

It’s hard for me to hate someone. But… my teacher in my high school asked me to drop out of school because I made a mistake. I hate him because he didn’t give me another chance.

When I successfully elected to be the VPE, I thought I was a leader. But later, I found it a laborious job. Luckily, I have Aimee to help me. When I saw her standing on the stage, I was astonished by her glamour. She was shining!

When I first joined SZTM, every time I stood on the stage, I got very nervous. I always forgot what to say. And even few people could understand my words. But I kept learning and practicing.

SZTM 的第 691 次课堂刚好赶上教师节，来回顾一下我们的这堂课讲了些什么。

先爆个料，这节课，我们请到了两位重量级导师，一位是高大帅气威武的前主席大奶妈，一位是苗条美腻优雅的班大人！！！（是哒，班大人是被主席大大从其他俱乐部抢来的。而且，她刚从欧洲旅游回来，就一路狂奔过来。）

这可是看过 C 罗的班大人!

✍ 吾与吾师

本次 Table Topic 出题老师，调皮可爱的主席大大 Joan 给出的主题当然是 Teacher，讲自己与老师之间的各种情感，看谁来举手回答。

Oneday as my teacher, the eternal life as my father. I want to say “Thank you”tomy teacher for teaching me how to be a kind man.

Iadmire teachers’ job because they have two months’ vacation and can travel alot.

Ihave ever had a teacher who has taught me a lot, but I don’t know much abouthim. That makes me sad.

很抱歉，这三位盆友，我听得太入神，然后什么笔记也没有，然后就……就忘记你们说了什么。果然，老师说得没错“好记性不如烂笔头”。

不管我们与老师之间有怎样的恩怨情仇，我们还是要记得他们的好，感谢他们为我们传授知识，解答疑惑。

时间紧迫，我们赶紧进入下一堂课。

✍ 百家讲坛

老师常说，要学以致用。其实每次演讲也是知识的消化吸收并再次输出的过程，来听听本堂课的演讲者们都分享了些什么，看看他们的消化程度如何。

Ariel – Is It Really about Self-discipline?

经过漫长的黑夜，怀着忐忑的心情，Ariel 上台了。

Whenwe fail to finish our goals, we usually blame ourselves for not being self-disciplined. But is it really the real reason? No. Actually, it’s about how to set goals andmanage our time.

Ourgoals should be attainable, challenging and rewarding.

Weneed to divide our time into modules and allocate them properly.

Thenit’s time for us to make a detailed plan and take actions.

以上，你 get 到了吗？很多时候，没有完成目标，并不是因为自己不够自律，而有可能是目标不合理，时间分配不均衡。

Jessica – Toast to My VPE Team

严格的教务主任（academic dean），优雅的 VPE 大大 Jessica，请上台。（小粉裙真好看）

WhenI successfully elected to be the VPE, I thought I was a leader. But later, Ifound it a laborious job. I had to worry about the agenda. I had to ask someone to take roles.

Luckily, I have Aimee to help me. At the beginning, I was a little bit worried that shewould not be able to handle it. But when I saw her standing on the stage, I wasastonished by her glamour. She was shining!

你以为教育副主席那么好当的吗？虽是大权在握，却也是万分辛苦。这不，Jessica 大大就道出了其中的艰辛。还好，Aimee 仙女出现了。她非常能干，光芒四射，的确值得嘉奖。想必，这样的经历也会是 eternal wealth.

Sunny-- My Growth in TM
接下来要出场的就是 SZTM 最好的学生之一，因为她一步一个脚印，不断突破自我，成功转型。

WhenI first joined SZTM, every time I stood on the stage, I got very nervous. Ialways forgot what to say. And even few people could understand my words.

ButI kept learning and practicing. I told myself not to be afraid of losing faceand took every opportunity to stand here. Gradually, I made progress and canspeak much fluently now.

Iwill go to America and be on an academic tour in October.

盆友们，听到了吧，花在 SZTM 的时间越多，头马对你来说就越重要。这句话什么意思不重要，记住：多来 SZTM，多来 SZTM，多来 SZTM！

✍ 教学相长

不管是台上的演讲者，还是台下的听众，都能从每堂课中学到很多，都既是老师，也是学生。此次点评亮点颇多，看过之后定会受益。

GE 大 Boss Nathan（就是开头提到的大奶妈）此次采取了不一样的点评策略，每个 evaluator 点评后，他就立刻进行点评，十分新颖。

TTE 建良老师（嗯，此人有多个称号，多来几次就熟悉了，哈哈哈）以三段式对每个即兴演讲者进行点评，亮点-鼓励-如何改进，清晰明了，简单实用。

Fish 说 Ariel 在 PPT 没有顺利播放时仍淡定演讲，颇有大将之风（这个词我喜欢，啊哈哈哈哈）。建议：要设置conflict，这样故事才会更生动，给人留下深刻影响。

SunnyLian 给妹妹 Sunny Fang 大大的赞，因为妹妹内容清晰，声音洪亮，说得十分流畅，需要注意的是，要提出大家都可以回答的common questions。虽然 GE 大 Boss 很帅，但是也不要只问他哦！

Vivian 笑容总是那么迷人，她也向 Jessica 报以温暖笑容，因为她气质优雅，气场强大，题目也很有力量，故事中的冲突设置更是让人印象深刻。

班大人靠着细长直的美腿赶到这里已是不易，还有精彩的点评。Link 在演讲中采用了图片，是很好的表达方式，同时拎出了故事中非常有意义的点，发人深省。需要改进的是，少放点文字，尽量用图片或单词代替句子；如果有 PPT，选择一个好的站位，既方便提示自己，也方便观众看到内容。

GE 大 Boss Nathan 对点评者都予以肯定，同时也特别指出了 SAA Leah, TME Ariel 做得好的地方，也对需要改进之处提出中肯建议。

一堂好课离不开优秀的老师，好学的学生，也离不开给我们指导和建议的辅导员（Facilitator）。Grammarian Louis 教授说本次亮点太多，着实记不过来，特别指出用词的多样性、时态、he/she不分的问题。Lily 分别报告了大家使用 emmm, ah, so 等赘词的次数，大表哥 Lizhen 再次强调时间控制的重要性。

✍ 颁奖典礼

一堂课结束了，我们还是要对表现更优秀的人给予表扬的，这样大家会更有动力。

虽然教师节已过，但是对老师的感谢不应忘。不管什么时候，只要想起来了，还是跟老师道一声，“老师，谢谢您！谢谢您教会我这么多知识和做人的道理。”
