Meeting #725
SZTM's 725th meeting paired food with speech under the idea that the two go well together. Rigina, Anne, Joan, and Fish gave prepared speeches, including an icebreaker from Joan revisiting her time away from the club, and Grass ran a table topics round built entirely around food, from mooncake to hotpot.
The club posted its own write-up that week. Some of what it said, in the words it used:
He chose hotpot, because he lived in Sichuan for 4 years, and he like spicy food, Sichuan’s spicy hotpot is very famous.
His topic was chocolate.“Mum always said, Life is like a box of chocolates that you will never know what you gonna get.”
Her topic was beer. She was very thanksful to him, and held a party to see him off, she drank many beers to show her grateful feeling to him, beer was a medium to express our feeling.

01 Warming up And Facilitators
April hosted Warming up section, greeted members by asking ‘what ’s your favorite food?’.

Vivian Pan hosted the SAA section and introduced the meeting rules very clearly.
President Zoe hosted the opening remarking section as usual.

She was the TME and she said ‘Wow, so many adorable people and things here tonight. I hope this will be an adorable meeting/night. '
Jeff was GE. His evaluation was positve and constrctive, he encouraged the partcipators and also gave very good suggestions to them, it was a perfect ending

Aiden, a member from Qianhai TMC, whose smile is always impressive, joined us again. He was the Timer in the meeting.
Adrian, the ah-counter in the meeting, suggested us to slow down, take deep breath, our brian is so fast, but our mouth is not that fast, to slow down is a good choice

02 Prepared Speech01Life hackers
Rigina from EOE TMC delivered her speech Life Hacker. She told us three effective principles to improve our work/life efficiency.
IE Adrian gave very constructive evaluation to Rigina’s speech presentation based on her speech structure as well as the PPT she demonstrated.

Could wild animals be demosticated?
Anne from NETM TMC delivered her speech Could Wild Animals Be Domesticated? She told us we should protect wild animals. IE Vivian Liu complimented Anne’s fluent English and she also suggested Anne to add more connection to audience.
03 DTM
Joan delivered an ice breaker speech to started her second pathway route. She told us her DTM,’disappear’ stories in SZTM in the past three years.
IE Louis praised Joan’s growth in SZTM and gave very affirmative evaluation to her speech tonight.
04 Interview
Fish was simulating an job interview with Sylvia, a member from Three TMC. His confident performance made him got the well- paid job.
IE Sylvia, demonstrated her constructive evaluation to Fish’s speech very passionately with very fluent English. That is really enjoyable.
03 Table topic
At the table topic session, Grass hold this exciting part. the theme was food, he picked out several kinds of food as topics.

He chose mooncake. he told us that he once eat a whole mooncake at Middle-Autumn festival, the feeling was wonderful.
Her topic was coffee, she likes coffee, coffee can kill our time, and refresh us, also having a coffee is a way to make friends.

Ncov-2019 let us stay at home, and bread and milk is very important, they can suport our body and enhance our immunity.

Chinese rice pudding, it is a symbol of chinese cuture, at dragon boat festival, we eat this traditional food, and it let us miss the ancient people and our hometown.
She also brought us a speech of hotpot, because she is from Sichuan, and she has a special love to hotpot.

After fierce table topic speech, Eric brother gave his evaluation to each speakers, Eric is a psycological teacher, he can caught the slim details of the speech and gave effective sugestions, to each speakers, his evaluation was detailed and specific, how lucky it is that we have a free psycological and speech coach.
