Meeting #743
SZTM's 743rd meeting on 29 August 2020 fell on Chinese Valentine's Day and doubled as a farewell for member David, who was returning to Taipei. TME Eric Liu hosted four prepared speeches, including Louis Liu's simulated award presentation for Sunny Wang Lian, while Table Topics master Lingyun asked nine speakers questions about loneliness and gifts, and Alex Sun was voted best speaker of the night.

On this Chinese Valentine’s Day, we had a collective date-SZTM 743rd meeting. The meeting was around the affairs of love, the romantic things about love, and about leave and sadness, our handsome member David would leave Shenzhen and return to Taibei, we had a farewell party to send him off, SZTM is a loving family.
The master of meeting was Eric Liu, a warm and gentle man, a psychologic teacher, and a always best speaker, so many titles, we name him “Mr always”.
The prepared speech session had four fabulous speakers.
01 Alex Sun: Too honest
Alex was a well-prepared speaker, he read the manual carefully before the meeting, and delivered a high level speech. Sometimes“Too honest” means it is not flexible, but we need to have our principles.

Miguel Ye: Emontional Intelligence
It is sophisticated, emontional intelligence is as important as IQ, and high EI can help us to deal with complex works.

Louis Liu: An Award Presentation Speech
The third one was Louis Liu, his gave a award presenting speech, and he simulated to present a award to Sunny Wanglian, and praized her achievements in toastermaster.

Sunny Wang Lian: The way to way with strangers
The fourth speaker was Sunny Wang Lian, her speech was about talking to strangers and travelling, she had a lot of interactions with audiences, and made us laugh all the time.
Table Topic Session
The table topic speech session was very sepcial and interesting, bcs it was about Chinese Valentine’s Day. Lovely Lingyun was the master, she asked many questions for the speakers, such as “Are you afraid of being longly?”, “What kind of gift do you expect on Valentine’s Day?”…..9 speakers went to the stage and shared their impromptu speech. For their interesting sharings, we bursted into big laughter many times, it was a warm and romantic part.
After the speeches, we had individual evaluators and general evaluator to give the speakers feedbaks, it is essential and very helpful.

At the end, we voted the best roles of the meeting, they were best speaker-Alex Sun, best facilitator-Megan, best evaluator and best table topic speaker- Iris, and best mater-Mr always Eric. Congratulationes to all the champions, you are the best!
Some shining points of the meeting: Eric asked every speakers a personal question and it was really hard, and Miguel invited his girlfriend to the meeting, our club is not only a meeting place, but also a dating place, because of slogan: SZTM-Where couples are made!
