It is not strong to start, but it is starting to be strong.
Challenges exist everywhere. For new members to become the core roles, it is a big challenge, but in SZTM’s 747th meeting, they did it. The meeting’s theme was ‘challenge’, TME, TTM, Grammarian, facilitators were all new members, they embraced challenges. Back waves have become SZTM’s pillars.

0Introduction
First, TME, the biggest host was Megan, she is a professional host actually, she was a wedding host, and it reveals the mystery that why she is so stable and calm in the stage, experience build-up excellent host. She also did detailed preparation before the meeting. Suitable gesture, natural transition, fluent English, her first time of TME was perfect.
1 Table Topic Section
The table topic master was Jennie Lee, her performance also was awesome. She brought the theme ‘‘challenge’’, the topics were critical, practical, close to our daily life. 6 people joined her topics, they talked around the challenge, change, comfortable zone, choosing a job, etc. The table topic session was a test of logic and reaction, very challenging.
2 Prepared Speeches
There were 4 prepared speakers.
The first one was Lizhen, his title was “lessons from the table topic”. The scariest thing for most members is table topic speech, he analyzed the reasons, such as afraid of losing face. Inspiration and encouragement are important, luckily, in SZTM, we are tolerant and supportive, and encourage every speaker, no matter what they said.
The second one was Vivian Liu, her title was “Original intention”. She recalled her many first time in SZTM, and her original intention to join Toastmaster. Appreciate her golden words “It is not strong to start, but it is starting to be strong.”
The third one was Louis Liu, his title was “Friend or thief?”. He shared two stories to tell us that, we can make friends with some special things, special animals, a friend can company us and with days going, emotion develops in our heart.
The fourth speaker was Lingyun. Her title was ‘‘How to be an efficient reader”. Before the meeting, she did a survey about his topic. And she used data and statistics to facilitate her speech, a efficient reader not only read quickly but also can draw the stress.
3 Guest Sharing Time
During the break time, our guests go to the stage and let us know them one by one, then took a group photo with us, they enjoyed the speeches and very hopeful to join our family.

The Grammarian was teacher Harry, really professional in English, he can pick out the tiny mistakes hiding in our speeches, and also correct our pronunciation, hard work for most people, but so easy for him. We look forward to his second time as Grammarian.
