Olivia spoke on “Imperfection is Beautiful” (IP 1.2). Sampson spoke on “Be thankful” (Engaging Humor 3.7). Eleven spoke on “Becoming Me” (PM 5.3 Reflect on Your Pathway). Emily spoke on “an awkward thing” (EH3.4).

The club posted its own write-up that week. Some of what it said, in the words it used:

Unfortunately, Sampson tested positivewhich contributed to him taking many poos at that time. Luckily, he has a lot of close friends to take care of him, which relieved his discomfort.

Eleven, the name he has hated for a long time, joined Toastmasters ten years ago. He has been through ups and downs in the ten years. At first, he could never finish his speech on time. He suffered a setback because of this problem. He quit Toastmasters and didn’t join Toastmasters until he encouraged himself to try it again six years later, and gradually he learned that less is more, and now he takes his time and tries his best in every speech. By reflecting, he digs deeper and deeper to find his purpose on the journey.

Eleven 在头马经历起起落落，人生海海，又何必在意一时沉浮，毕竟后面还有更多沉浮！

Unfortunately, Sampson tested positivewhich contributed to him taking many poos at that time. Luckily, he has a lot of close friends to take care of him, which relieved his discomfort. He was thankful that his friends are always ready to help. After a few days of physical torment (and many poos), he realized that he should be thankful to himself. Herealized he was a person who deserves care, respect, and appreciation. Not only the whole 2022 but also the whole of his life has not been easy. He is a person who is responsible for all of life’s difficulties and pressures. So be self-thankful.

“Don’t brag about yourself,“Emily told us. It’s what Emily learnt from a embarrasing experience on stage, She tried to imitate the dance which she engaged in. Compared with Olivia’s being fully prepared, Emily found herself to be awkward, but took a lesson from this experience that it is necessary to keep low profile.
