🌺『Preciousness of Life』🌺
A Theme That Opened Many Doors
The 899th meeting invited members to explore “Preciousness of Life,” a theme introduced as a chance to share the moments, struggles, and experiences that make life valuable. The prepared-speech lineup gave that idea four distinct entry points: innovation and Israel, the deliberately intriguing “bad badminton,” a thoughtful “We have but this one life,” and an online art exhibition. Before the meeting, the chat kept turning those titles into friendly mysteries: “Is badminton really bad?” and “足不出户也能看艺术展么?”
Creativity in the Room—and Afterward
The meeting’s creative energy continued beyond the agenda. Homemade treats were offered on a first-come, first-served basis, while a darkly comic turtle-soup riddle briefly brought Halloween into the conversation. Afterward, the group debated whether the new fifth-floor venue needed another try: “容我们再次优化一次5楼,再决定也不迟,” especially since it was cheaper than the 26th floor. Practical budgeting met club spirit, with members considering a flexible use of both spaces.
A Little Luck and a Giraffe
The evening ended on a lighter note. “I picked up five yuan and a lottery ticket on my way home. I wonder if it’s because I ate this tonight?” The MOT also received warm feedback for its creative style, including a promise—or hope—to see “that cute giraffe again.” It was a fitting close to a meeting about precious life: serious reflection, shared laughter, and small surprises worth remembering.
