Meeting #913

Memorable moments

DateTuesday, 30 January 2024

The last regular meeting before Chinese New Year brought a full house and four speeches covering a wide range of topics, from personal passions to life decisions.

Four Speeches, Four Stories

Ian opened with “Music and I,” sharing how music has shaped his perspective. Jack Xu tackled a universal question in “Why should I learn English?” Olivia brought energy and laughs with “Run Run Run,” her first speech on the Engaging Humor pathway. Sheya closed the prepared speeches with “Should I leave?”, a reflective exploration through her Dynamic Leadership project.

Behind the Scenes

The meeting required some last-minute coordination. Meeting Manager Brownie could not make it to the venue that afternoon, so a fellow member helped print the agenda. Evan led a fitting Table Topics session themed around memorable moments from the Year of the Rabbit, and Tangson stepped in mid-meeting to cover the MOT role.
