A New Home

Meeting 920 marked our first gathering at the new venue on the 5th floor of Zhuoyue Building, Fuhuayi Road, Futian. Jason transported all the club supplies from the old location, arriving with what he called “全部家当” (all our belongings). Despite last-minute role shuffles and a few withdrawals on the day, the meeting came together.

The Speeches

Sampson delivered “One plus one,” a speech from the Engaging Humor pathway. The title itself went through an evolution from “Two hands” to “Two men” before landing on “One plus one.” He later shared his script in the group chat along with the Q&A segment with Poornima, calling their partnership “1+1>2.”

Jason spoke on “Gourmet,” and Alfred gave his Ice Breaker, “Self Introduction - Three Episodes of My Life,” sharing three turning points that shaped his journey. The group joked about thanking Alfred’s mom for a well-timed white lie and his girlfriend for bringing him to Shenzhen.

After the meeting, Susie formally applied to join SZTM, and the group gave her a warm welcome.
