Workshop: How to Catch Attention in Table Topics

This was a special workshop meeting featuring Jimmy Luo, the 2022 District Table Topics Champion, who traveled from Guangzhou to lead a session on impromptu speaking techniques. The club pulled strings to book him during contest season, making this a rare opportunity for members.

Table Topics Practice

After the workshop, the meeting included a shortened table topics session so attendees could put Jimmy’s techniques into practice right away. The original 12-minute slot was extended back to 14 minutes after members pointed out that everyone would be eager to try what they had just learned.
