AI is reshaping everything, and this meeting asked us to think about what that means. The word of the day, “transformative,” set the tone. Table Topics got extra time this week, giving more members a chance to share their take on the future.

Three Speeches

Toto took us on “A Trip to Egypt,” earning a memorable reaction from the group chat: “Potential VPM must be YOU!” Edwin tackled workplace dynamics in “Monkey on the back,” prompting one member to write: “感谢Edwin！！！何其有幸，既从老马这里学习演讲技能，又从职场老鸟这里获得职场生存经验.” Brownie rounded out the evening with “First encounter with seal script,” bridging ancient calligraphy and modern curiosity.

Behind the Scenes

The VPPR leaned on AI to prepare the meeting’s English introduction, which drew some friendly teasing in the group chat. As one member put it: “SZTM应该是深圳少数每周都稳定有4个prepared speeches 的俱乐部.” Another replied: you could replace “少数” with “唯一.”
