Four Firsts on Stage

Meeting 946 asked members to revisit their “first times.” Four speakers delivered prepared speeches, three of them Ice Breakers. Josh stepped in as a last-minute replacement and turned his slot into an interactive Q&A about blood donation. Lynn shared her journey as a self-described late mover, while Enya traced her path from English beginner to building an international team. Linna rounded out the session by singing on stage for the first time.

Table Topics and Timekeeping

Edwin ran the Table Topics session around the same theme. Ivy’s impromptu response was so animated that she went a full minute past time and had to be dinged off stage. Anna’s timer report noted that Josh was the only prepared speaker to finish within the green zone at 7 minutes 12 seconds.

Welcome, Dr. Eric

The meeting also welcomed a new member, Dr. Eric, who gave an unexpectedly full three-minute self-introduction. As one member put it in the group chat:
