Meeting 951 brought the theme “Artisanate” to life in the most literal way. Christy delivered her icebreaker speech, “Opportunities favor those who are prepared,” winning warm praise from the audience.

A Hands-On Cultural Experience

Emma turned her Table Topics Master session into something far beyond the usual impromptu questions. She organized a hands-on intangible cultural heritage craft activity where members made lacquer fans. The activity tied beautifully into the Artisanate theme, giving everyone a taste of traditional craftsmanship.

Stepping Up

Candy managed the meeting as Meeting Manager for the first time, and when the Hark Master role opened up on the day of the meeting, she stepped in without hesitation. Josh ran a workshop alongside his Grammarian duties. Alison, who had just joined as a new member the day before, took on the GST role after a friendly round of role-swapping among members.
