A Debate on Short Videos

Meeting 954 replaced prepared speeches with a debating game. The motion: “Does the short video improve or reduce cognitive ability?” Two teams squared off in structured rounds, culminating in a free debate that left everyone wanting more.

The free debate round was clearly the highlight, with both debaters and audience wishing it had lasted longer.

Romance in the Air

The theme brought its own flavor beyond the debate. A poem was shared during the meeting, Baklava from the old Silk Road city of Sheki was passed around, and at least one member’s t-shirt became a talking point.
