A new home

The 961st meeting was the first held at SZTM’s new venue: the International Talent Station in Changfu Jinmao Building, Futian Free Trade Zone. The old space at Zhuoyue Building had been getting tight. As one member put it: “对，换了新场地，之前的略小，我们人多.” Another called it an upgrade.

Five speeches and twelve guests

Five speakers took the stage. Alison, who also served as Meeting Manager, opened with a Level 1 speech on health. Susie stepped in as a backup speaker, and Ivy, Tina, and Candy each delivered their speeches as well.

The real headline of the evening was the turnout. Twelve guests showed up, right after the Chinese New Year holiday. The post-meeting chat captured the surprise: “一场会议 12 个 guests 你敢信！！！而且全都语言能力很棒！”

Small moments

One guest, Qin, asked Jason to sign a book for her. Jason was stunned: “qin 叫我帮书签名 人生第一次啊.” He also earned a ribbon during the meeting and shared a red envelope in the group the next morning to celebrate.

Meanwhile, the person running logistics was so swamped that the usual New Year red envelopes slipped through the cracks entirely: “今晚给我忙的 🧧都忘派了.”
