Candy pulled double duty as both Meeting Manager and the evening’s first speaker. Her speech “Labels” explored how the tags we attach to ourselves and others shape the way we live. Enya followed with “Exploring the world, exploring yourself,” connecting travel experiences to personal growth. David closed the prepared speeches with his Ice Breaker, “How to Improve Yourself Continuously,” introducing himself to the club through the lens of self-improvement.

The meeting behind the meeting

The club’s president Stella was home sick that night, but she was anything but absent. As the meeting got underway, she posted in the group chat: “抱恙在家的我，好想去参会啊！！！” When Ivy shared a batch of photos from the venue, Stella replied: “隔着屏幕都感受到热情和快乐.”

Ivy, who had hauled a suitcase of club supplies to the venue, described herself as “拖着一箱俱乐部的传承.” Stella painted the full picture: walking in high heels, dragging the suitcase, like a warrior on the road. The evening wrapped up with Stella’s reflection: “每一场成功的会议背后，都有很多会员默默地在付出，有你们，真好.”
