Make Some Fun
Prepared speeches
Brent looked back on his time in SZTM, reflecting on why he joined and what he set out to achieve. Enya followed with a speech about the introvert’s survival guide to looking like an extrovert. The room was convinced she was the real deal: “我也觉得 Enya 是 extrovert,” someone wrote after the meeting, while another countered: “货真价实的 introvert.” The verdict: “Pretend 得很成功!” One member shared that the speech hit close to home: “今天 Enya 问大家是 introvert 还是 extrovert, 我以前做 MBTI 的结果是 E, 但我现在感觉越来越 I 了 Enya 分享的那些 get energy 的做法我都喜欢.”
Double Table Topics marathon
This meeting ran a double Table Topics format. Edwin hosted the first half under the banner “Make Some Fun,” and Brownie took over the second half with “Make More Fun,” each with their own Table Topic Evaluator (Ivy and Stella respectively). Edwin’s questions were creative enough to earn a reputation: “分享一下今天 TTM Edwin 的脑洞问题,这个系列还有第二期第三期.” The session left the audience wanting more: “这次的 tabletopic 好有趣,” and Stella put it plainly: “没玩够根本没玩够.”
Stella herself impressed as TTE for the second half, delivering sharp evaluations with only three minutes of preparation: “Stella 点评我的 TTM,中间只有 3 分钟准备时间,都讲的那么好.”
A night of stepping up
VPE David captured the spirit of the evening: “Tonight, many of you have stepped forward to make contributions beyond and above. The vitality of club depends on every one of us. So proud of those who made the meeting successful today.” With one speaker slot opening up last-minute and a double TTM format requiring extra volunteers, members filled the gaps without hesitation.
The meeting also featured seed bookmarks as gifts, courtesy of Stella. “记得让你家娃种下书签,给我们看看长出来的是什么.”
