Tongue twisters and puzzles

The evening opened with a surprise warm-up: Christy, as SAA, led the room through tongue twisters. The idea came from Noah, Stella’s son, who had suggested it during a hike the week before. Edwin and Tao led the reading, and soon the whole room was chanting along. As one member recalled: “Edwin 和 tao 领读，全场一起读这两句绕口令的场景，好像老师在带同学朗读.” During the break, Brownie handed out personalized puzzle-themed gifts: “collecting puzzle 的小礼物是根据对大家的了解，来自私人的小小心意哈.”

Prepared speeches

Edwin’s “From Struggle to Enjoy” was his pathway capstone, closing out PM 5.3 with a reflection on two years and sixteen speeches. What struck the room was not just the milestone but the structure behind it: “Edwin 关于 pathway reflection 简直是 shocking，2 年 16 个 speeches, 他有一个大逻辑框架，在支撑着每一个演讲的选题！非常值得学习借鉴！” One member summed it up: “‘Struggle’ means ‘improving on the way’. Wish all of us will have such a journey: from struggle to enjoy.”

Tao had originally planned a different topic, but switched to cameras that morning. “放弃原来的话题了 写不出来 偷懒做 ppt 了,” he wrote in the group chat. The result was a slide-driven talk on camera technology. One member’s comment afterwards: “Tao 在 Camera 上有挖掘不完的有趣话题，我们才有机会去感受摄影后面的科学和细腻.”

First-timers and returning faces

Anna took on General Evaluator for the first time. Before the meeting she was nervous, but talked herself into it: “反正做不好又不会怎样～也没人会打我，还一堆人夸我，有啥好怕的，哈哈哈.” The verdict from the room: “Anna 首次 GE, 一改往日活泼，graceful and calm.” Crystal, who had been away for a while, reached out that afternoon asking if any roles were open. She ended up joining as a Table Topics speaker.
