Prepared speeches

Three speakers took the stage. Kristin opened with her Ice Breaker “Sometimes Don’t Be Too Proactive,” sharing a personal lesson about knowing when to step back. Becky followed with “Dare You Take Risks?” working on nonverbal communication awareness. As one member put it in the group chat: “Becky 往那一站，自带幽默光环.” Christy closed the prepared speeches with “Fun Projects in My Life,” a speech about the things that keep life interesting. She later recalled one moment from the evening that stuck with her: “我记得’慌得一批’.”

The third place

David, serving as TME, offered a reflection that resonated with the room: SZTM is the third place between work and family. After the meeting, members kept returning to this idea. “我也喜欢 David said. SZTM is the third place between work and family.” Someone added: “Third place is our private place.” Another simply called it “Utopia.”

Edwin, who doubled as both Meeting Manager and Table Topics Master, led the impromptu speaking session under the same theme: Make some FUN. He also left the group with a line worth remembering: “Happy people always have reasons to be happy.”

After the meeting

The evening came with cake, courtesy of Brownie. Several members had gathered at a nearby McDonald’s before the meeting, and the good mood carried all the way through. Five group photos were posted afterward with the caption: “一个不能少.”
