Brent’s panel discussion “Career plan to hedge against gloomy expectation” was a PM5.3 project, the kind that runs 20 to 22 minutes and needs its own space on the agenda. He moderated a conversation about navigating career uncertainty, a topic that clearly hit home with the audience. Ten guests had shown up that evening, and the club’s recruitment KPI was on everyone’s mind. As one member observed in the group chat: “面对 10 个 baby 的 KPI, 感到迷茫的 guest.” The response was quick and honest: “搁谁谁不迷茫.”

Becky followed with “Is sales the key to closing deals?”, an inspirational speech exploring whether sales skills are really the deciding factor when it comes to sealing agreements.

Jason ran the Table Topics session around the theme “Future,” keeping the impromptu round tied to the meeting’s overarching topic.

Behind the scenes

Kristin doubled as Meeting Manager and On-Camera Master, and she clearly took the photography side seriously. The day after the meeting, she asked in the group: “our group 是不是有个专门放例会照片的群？昨天我拍了蛮多的，可以选一些出来.” Tangson appreciated the results: “把我拍得这么帅，下次多拍.”
