Dear Toastmasters and Fellow Guests,

Thank you for coming and witnessing how the SZTM Champions were born! The annual 2020-2021 speech contest officially kicked off in Shenzhen International Speech Club on November 28, 2020!

Thanks to all SZTM members who participated in the contest, no matter you were the contestant or facilitator. Without your effort, our meeting would not succeed. And also special thanks to all the contestants, who did an amazing job today. For the champions, congratulations and good luck for your next contest.

Let’s take a look back at those wonderful moments!

Registration and introduction Session

Our SAA staff group arrived early to make arrangements for the place. Today we have more than 30 persons attending our speech contest. They were warmly welcomed and had lots of fun together.

Our Contest Chair Louis Liu wearing a formal suit gave opening remarks for the meeting.

PART-1International Speech Contest

We had 8 contestants shared their stories with us.

- Sunny Wang shared with us some of her own experiences traveling in different countries and tried to find .

- Fish Liu told us about his change of before and after joining SZTM.

- Megan Luo told us about and the relationship with her parents.

- April Luo was always a and planned to be a coffee maker.

- Link Lian told us a lot of funny stories about .

- Joan Zhang told us to parents.

- Li Zhen told us how to with your children

Except for the offline contestants, we also had an online constant

- Eleven Liu told us that . Some speeches made us laugh loudly while others made us think deeply.

All the contestants were so talented in delivering their speeches.

PART-2Evaluation Speech Contest

First, Our Test speaker Ivy shared with us a story about.

Then 4 contestants Eleven Liu, Sunny Wang, April Luo, and Fish Liu gave an evaluation speech in three minutes one by one. It was like a table topic speech so they did not have too much time for preparation. All of them were doing well in such a short time for evaluating a speech.

Break Time

At break time, we prepared a lot of food and water for guests and contestants. What a lovely and considerable meeting!

PART-3Mandarin Speech Contest

Except for the English speech contest, we held a special Chinese speech contest.

- The first contestant Xing Dexiu delivering his speech online to tell us some interesting knowledge about blind men trying to size up an elephant.

- The second contestant Joan Zhang introduced different grandmothers she met for us.

- The third contestant Tao told us to do something when we led a group.

- The last contestant April Luo shared her opinions about where the money came from.

All of us were totally absorbed in their unique and special stories.

PART-4Mandarin Evaluation Speech Contest

Last but not least, our test speaker gave a speech about changes.

Then 3 contestants April Luo, Fish Liu, and Carol Ban gave the evaluation. Until now, we have been enjoying the exciting meeting for 3 hours!
