Qingsong Trail
An afternoon on the Qingsong Trail, followed by hotpot together.
On Saturday, 24 October, Stella organised a walk along the Qingsong Trail in Tanglang Mountain Country Park. Members joined her for an afternoon outdoors, with children coming along too.
A Saturday on the trail
The plan was to meet at Shenyun metro station at two, take an easy walk, and have dinner afterwards.
Even before Saturday, dinner was getting plenty of attention in the group chat. Tangson suggested a lamb restaurant, saying the weather called for it. Stella pointed out that it was 31 degrees.
The group stopped for a photo at the park entrance before heading along the trail. There were pink blossoms along the way and views across the water towards the city. A small sign hanging from a tree offered its own suggestion: 放松一下吧, or “take a break”.
Dinner together
After the walk came hotpot, with everyone gathered around the table, glasses raised. Stella shared photos in the group that evening so those who couldn’t join could see a little of the day.
Thank you to Stella for organising, and to everyone who came along. It was a chance for members to spend time together outside our Tuesday meetings, with room for the children to join in too.
